Features and shorts that deserve more than a hard drive. Publish once, share anywhere.
For filmmakers
Yapflix is where your film or micro-drama gets watched, talked about and shared. Publish it, send it to the people who already follow you, and see who shows up.
Sign up on the web or in the app. A filmmaker account is separate from a fan account. Plans are priced by film length and streaming quality, and the price is shown before you pay.

If you have a finished film and an audience to bring, you are in the right place.
Features and shorts that deserve more than a hard drive. Publish once, share anywhere.
Vertical series built for the phone, with free first episodes that pull viewers in.
Give your festival run a permanent home and a link for every email and poster.
Reach an audience that wants to talk about what they watch, not just scroll past it.
Pick the filmmaker account when you sign up, on this website or in the app. It is separate from a fan account, so use an email or Apple ID that is not already a fan account. Then pick a plan that fits your film.
In the app or on the upload page: add a title, description and poster, pick your license, choose your MP4 and the quality you want. We prepare it for smooth streaming on any connection.
Get a link that looks great wherever you post it, a story card, a QR code and captions in three tones. Then watch the views come in.
Everything you need to get a film seen, without building a website.
Instagram, TikTok, X, WhatsApp, iMessage, email. Your poster and title show up wherever the link lands, and it opens straight into the app.
One tap makes a story-ready card and a QR code for posters and screenings. Save it, share it, print it.
Views from your shares, top sources and the last 30 days, with no personal data about the people who clicked.
Your film plays at the best quality each viewer’s connection allows. 4K is offered when your source file is 4K and your plan includes it.
Fans talk about your film right next to it. Your film gets a conversation, not just a view count.
You own your film. Your chosen license stays with it, and you can ask us to take it down.

Bought in the iOS app, a plan is billed by Apple and managed there. Bought on the web, it is billed by Stripe and managed in your account. Fans have separate accounts with their own plans, in the app.
Yapflix publishes public-domain films and films under Creative Commons licenses that allow commercial use: CC0, CC BY and CC BY-SA. Work licensed NonCommercial or NoDerivatives, and anything from studios or brands, cannot be published.
Not with the same account. Fan and filmmaker accounts are separate, and one email or Apple ID makes one account. If you want both, use a different email for each.
Account types cannot be changed. Delete the account in the app or on the Delete Account page, then sign up again with the type you want and a different email.
Filmmaker plans depend on how long your films are and what streaming quality you want. See the plans page for the prices, monthly or yearly. Prices, renewal and cancellation are always shown before you pay, and there is no free trial.
It is rejected before it is processed, and we say so plainly. We never cut a film short. Pick a plan that fits it, or upload a shorter cut.
A plan bought in the iOS app is billed by Apple, so you manage it in the app or in your Apple subscription settings. A plan bought on the web is managed in your account. You never pay twice: if you already have a plan through the App Store, the website says so.
Yapflix does not promise earnings. Any payout program depends on eligibility and on how the platform is doing; we will say plainly what applies to you before you publish.
The most common reasons are a license that does not allow commercial use, a file that is not an MP4, or a film longer than your plan allows. The app tells you which one and what to do next.
Join on the web or in the app, choose a plan, and upload your first film.
