Yapflix is a place to watch and talk about movies and series. These rules keep it welcoming. They apply to yaps, rants, comments, chat, live streams, profiles, watch parties and uploads.

What we want

• Opinions, jokes, reviews, fan content and your own films and series.
• Disagreement that stays about the topic, not the person.
• Content you have the right to share. See the Copyright Policy.

What is not allowed

• Sexual content involving minors, in any form. We remove it and report it to the authorities.
• Threats, harassment, bullying, doxxing or encouraging self-harm.
• Hate against people because of who they are.
• Graphic violence shown for shock, and sexually explicit content.
• Illegal activity, scams, spam, fake accounts and impersonation.
• Cheating rewards, referrals, ad unlocks or watch-party access.
• Uploading or sharing other people's work without permission.

Report and block

Use the report option on a post, rant, comment, profile or upload in the app, or email support@yapflix.com with a link or the title and what is wrong. You can block a person in the app so you no longer see their content and they cannot interact with you.

What happens next

We review reports and remove content that breaks these rules or our Terms of Use. Depending on how serious or repeated it is, we may remove the content, limit features such as uploads or live streaming, suspend the account or end it. Reports about illegal content may be passed to the authorities.

Appeals

If we removed your content or limited your account and you think we got it wrong, email support@yapflix.com with the title or link and why. We will take another look.
