Delete your account

You can delete your Yapflix account and the information in it at any time.

In the app

Open Settings, choose your account, then Delete account, and confirm. You will be signed out when it is done.

By email

Email support@yapflix.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We may ask you to confirm it is you.

What is deleted

• Your account, profile and sign-in details.
• Your yaps, rants, comments and uploads, and your watch-party memberships.
• Your unlocks, coin balance and any active subscription. Deleting your account ends your subscription so you are not charged again.

Coins you have not used are lost when your account is deleted and are not refunded unless the law requires it.

What we may keep

We keep limited records we must or may keep, such as payment and tax records and records needed to prevent fraud or handle legal claims. Copies in backups are overwritten on a rolling basis.

How long it takes

We process requests as soon as we can and within the time the law requires. To ask for a copy of your data instead, or first, see Your Rights.
