Accessibility
Working draft pending legal review.
We want Yapflix to be usable by as many people as possible. This is where we are today.
What we do
- The website uses page landmarks, a skip link, visible keyboard focus, descriptive titles and alt text on images, and works from phone to desktop widths.
- The app's video player has labelled controls for play, skip, mute, next episode, casting and AirPlay, and offers subtitles when a video includes them.
- You can turn off trailer autoplay by using Low Power Mode or Reduce Motion on your device.
Known gaps
- Some app screens are missing VoiceOver labels.
- User videos only have captions if the uploader provides them.
- The app is in English only for now.
- We have not yet had an independent accessibility audit.
